Zoladex 10.8 mg is indicated

• Metastatic prostate cancer:

Zoladex has demonstrated comparable survival benefits to surgical castrations.

• Locally advanced prostate cancer (alternative to surgical castration):

Zoladex has demonstrated comparable survival benefits to anti-androgen therapy.

• Adjuvant treatment to radiotherapy:

For patients with high-risk localised or locally advanced prostate cancer, Zoladex has demonstrated improved disease-free survival and overall survival.

• Neo-adjuvant treatment prior to radiotherapy:

In high-risk localised or locally advanced prostate cancer, Zoladex has demonstrated improved disease-free survival.

• Adjuvant treatment to radical prostatectomy:

For patients with locally advanced prostate cancer at high risk of disease progression, Zoladex has demonstrated improved disease-free survival (see section 5.1).

Nature and Contents of Container:

• Zoladex LA is supplied as a single dose SafeSystem™ syringe applicator with a protective sleeve in a sealed pouch containing a desiccant.

Special Precautions for Storage:

• Do not store above 25°C.
