Having a full battery means that the defibrillator is always ready to perform lifesaving shock treatment at a moment’s notice. The defibrillator also requires battery power to carry out required maintenance programs to keep the AED in good working order.

How to use
When the current battery in your defibrillator is in need of replacing, either through a beeping notification or a reminder email confirming the expiry of the battery, adding a new battery couldn’t be simpler and ensures that your AED remains rescue-ready at all times. The defibrillator can also carry out essential maintenance tasks whilst you’re not using it.

The defibrillator uses the battery power in the background at all times whilst the unit checks and maintains the electrode pads, subsystems, hardware and software so that, in the event of an emergency, the AED is rescue-ready.

The IntelliSense Lithium Battery has a four-year operational life. They can be stored for 5 years from manufacture, then give a full 4 years of stand-by life once installed in a defibrillator. The battery is non-rechargeable and easy to install, as it simply snap-fits into the defibrillator

The Cardiac Science Powerheart G3 and G3 Plus AED Non-Rechargeable IntelliSense Lithium Battery 9146 is tested to operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F), so can function properly in a wide range of temperatures. The lithium technology used in the battery provides stable and consistent power output, even in extreme temperatures, making it an ideal choice for use in a defibrillator across various environments.
